It's true. I really have nothing better to do with my time. A normal person would probably go to bed out of sheer boredom, but not me. I'm not normal. Nothing new there. Plus, this new supplement I'm taking apparently have enough caffeine in it to send Robert Downy Jr. through the roof. They tell you not to take it less than 5 hours before bedtime and I can fuckin' see why.
So the real reason that I'm excited was that I saw the away message of a guy I knew in high school and haven't talked to for years. It just started "If you hear any noise it's just me and the boys..." From there I finished the lyric out loud, then blasted "Bop Gun" surely annoying whatever neighbors I have. I've only even seen an attractive blond and that was once. Funny story there actually. I don't think she was aware that there was one more apartment down the end of the hall, so I come walking at her at my usual clip, faster than most people, and as I approach, I smiled and nodded at her and as I came right up to her, she stepped back into the door and clutched her purse. I looked back visibly confused as I walked past her and unlocked my door. Even through the iPod headphones I could hear her sigh. It was kinda funny then, and I think even funnier now. These are the stories I'm left with now. Bored as hell out here, and I only get vacation for 8 days, then I'm right back here the week of New Year's. If there's an upside, I'll get to watch as many bowl games as possible relatively undisturbed. Now if I could just find something to occupy my brain for more than 10 seconds, I'd be set.
